US Health Care Systems

PHSC5373  Pharmacy practice interacts with overall health care environments and their stakeholders.  A good grasp of these interrelationships is essential to improve outcomes and values in the delivery of pharmacist patient care. This course thus provides students with overviews on US healthcare systems, insurance, managed care, PBMs, pharmaceutical markets, and pharmacoeconomics.
