· Heartland Pharmacy Alliance lectureship

In November 2007, the College of Pharmacy received a $20,000 donation from independent pharmacists in the state to promote pharmacy entrepreneurship. The NCPA Student chapter agreed to use the funds to have an annual Heartland Pharmacy Alliance lectureship, and Dr. John Musil was invited to be the first speaker. Dr. Musil is the owner of the Apothecary Shops based in Arizona and the recipient of numerous awards related to community pharmacy.

· Participated in the NCPA Business Plan Competition—Our chapter placed in the Top 10 nationally in 2007

· Legislative Health Fair at the Arkansas Capital

 

· Selling T-shirts and other fundraising items

 

· Advocated legislative action on Pharmacy issues
