ADVANCED COMMUNITY PHARMACY - OTC OTC Formulary Instructions A nonprescription formulary is a document designed to be a reference for yourself or other pharmacy students or pharmacists. It should assist them in choosing an appropriate medication for a specific disease state or patient complaint. You may choose any of the commonly recognized problems/diseases or domains listed in Section III of your manual. At a minimum, the formulary should contain the following information about each product:
