This self-study is intended to comprehensively review the status of Pharmacy education at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) College of Pharmacy. Through this self-study process, this Pharmacist faculty and Pharmacist community are looking for opportunities to improve the education of Pharmacy students and the continuing education of the Pharmacists in the State of Arkansas. This website is intended to both describe findings and request input from the Faculty, Students, Preceptors and Staff at UAMS as well as the profession of Pharmacy in the State of Arkansas. The profession of Pharmacy includes individual pharmacists as well as organizations such as the Arkansas Pharmacist Association, the Arkansas Association of Hospital Pharmacists, and the Arkansas Board of Pharmacy.
